On October 1, 2018, the most wonderful husband and father, NICHOLAS D. MOULAKIS, passed from the loving circle of his family into eternal life. He was born to Sultana and the late Socrates Moulakis in Rutherford, NJ on March 14, 1951. He spent his summers in Atlantic City with his two brothers, Alexander (Carol) and David, at their grandmother's hotel on the boardwalk. Nick was married to his beloved wife, Linda, whom he called "Jean", on January 20, 1973. On the night of their wedding they drove to Morgantown WV, where Nick would earn his B.S. in Business Administration on a soccer scholarship at West Virginia University. After graduating, they moved to Upper Arlington, Ohio, where he began his career at BancOhio and remained there until retiring from PNC as Vice President, Treasury Management. He was a loyal and devoted banker who never missed a day of work and more importantly, a great friend and mentor to all who knew him. He was a soccer player to his core and enjoyed his years as head coach of the Upper Arlington Girls Varsity Soccer Team. He truly was the most selfless, humble, fair, loving and kind soul who made everyone feel loved. He was the best father to Aimee (Bob) White, Allison and (Nick) Thomas and Nicholas A. Moulakis. He adored his six grandchildren: Madeline, Sophia, Katherine, Finley, Robert "Charlie" and William. He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters-in law, Bill and Kathy Horvath and Dennis and JoAnne Almeida and his loving nephews and niece, Ryan, Tyler and Megan. Nick loved his wonderful life-long friends Don Philabaum, Harry Bessas, and Kyle Dick. Our lives will never be the same without him, he was our joy and strength, and we will miss him forever. Family will receive friends from 4-7pm Monday, October 8, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221.
