Nira RoseMarie Hallman

Nira RoseMarie Hallman, age 36, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2009. Nira was a loving person who enjoyed being around family and friends. Nira was born on June 19, 173. After high school she started working at ARC Industries. She enjoyed going for ice cream with her friends and ordering her favorite chocolate milkshake. She attended numerous country concerts and loved listening to every song. Nira was a resident of Creative Housing Independent Living where she spent her time with her life long companion Roy. Nira and Roy took many vacations including their time in Tennessee. At this time of the year Nira could be found decorating her Christmas tree and getting ready for holiday dinners. She enjoyed New Year’s Eve dinners of pork and sauerkraut with her family. Nira was also involved with the Special Olympics participating in the wheel chair races. When Nira was not busing with all her activities and traveling she was watching her favorite game shows and Dancing with the Stars. She is preceded in death by her dad, Rexford Suain; grandmother, Jean Yocum; great grandmother, Mabel Cline. She is survived by her life long companion, Roy McCalister; mother, Rebecca Suain; father, Richard Mapes; brother, Chauncey (Tara) Suain; grandparents, Neil and Carolyn Hallman nephews, Kennan and Jacob; niece, Sophia; and favorite aunts and uncles; her boss, Lois; her longtime nurse, Betty and friends. A memorial service will take place on Friday, December 11, 2009 at 6pm at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43232.
