You will be missed momma, more than I can express. I have many wonderful memories of you and I.   "Sound of Music" play you took me to when I was 15, someone exited the stage where there wasn't a door, and we laughed so hard we thought they were going to throw us out.    Two weeks of reconnecting after many years, when I was 14. where you taught me to play canasta. Our gambling trip to Mississippi by bus, our two trips to Washington DC with 100 sixth graders each time.  Our week long bus trip to Disney in Florida and  Grand O Opry,.  Getting almost thrown out of a Dinner where the bishop was speaking for laughing again.  I gave you your first Granddaughter and Grandson, and I regret that they didn't have the opportunity to get to know you because we moved out of state.  You will truly be missed Momma and loved as long as I live.

What a beautiful video for Nora. It doesn't seem possible that I have known Nora for close to forty years. She was a strong willed woman and really enjoyed living with Ceil. I have never seen her as happy and animated as when she moved in with her. It made me smile. I got to know her mainly through Joe and Shelley at family gatherings. I regret not getting my lesson on making grape leaves from Nora. Hers were my favorite of all. Enjoy the other side now Nora. When we meet again I will get that cooking lesson! Until then.....Morgan

Angel - Memorial was purchased for the family of Nora A Hebdo .

To my family, and specifically Joe, Ceil and Gina; my heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your mother.  I loved Aunt Nora, and was blessed to have been able to see her again at Joe's Celebration of Life.  Thank you for bringing her for us to see again.  Unfortunately, I am not able to travel, but I am with you all in spirit.  Sending much love.

Grandma Nora always held a special place in all of our hearts, especially mine.  She was a very strong and independent woman that was never afraid to say what she felt.  Two words:  "Hard Candies".  She hated getting her picture taken and could cook, smoke, and play cards for hours on end.  I saw her a lot throughout my life, thanks to my father, and for that I'm grateful.  I will always remember my father and I singing karaoke for her and everyone else in her complex,  And Earl and his brown clothes,  And how she was disgusted by my dreadlocks.  She was joking and being sarcastic up until the last day I saw her. Thank you for always being a true teacher grandma and say hi to all the billy birds !!  Miss you and Love you.

I will always remember Grandma Nora for her awesome Grapeleaves, her beastly card playing, and her wonderful sense of humor!  I look forward to the day we will see each other again so Dave and I can finally beat you and mom in Euchre :) I love you Grandma!!!

I have many fond memories of Mom.   She would laugh so hard watching the Golden Girls with me that she would have to have me help her up to get to the bathroom in time.  She loved going to the casino and playing slot machines, card games, skip bo, yahtzee and many more.  Saturday nights we watch Lawrence Welk and she would sing with them.  It was very cute.  I will miss everything about her but I thank God for the time we had together and for allowing her to go so peacefully.

One of my fondest memories of Grandma Nora is playing SkipBo and eating hard candies at her kitchen table. What great times those were for me!  I will also cherish the times she cooked with me in that same apartment!  Who can forget how awesome her rice stuffing tasted!!!  I will miss her & her smile!  Prayers to all but especially to my dad and aunt Ceil & Gina at this very sad time!
