Sending my love, prayers and condolences for your loss. Reflecting on the gift of endless memories only leaves a big smile, I loved her as a friend, and as a second mom. At age 12, my mom and I met Norma and Lisa which started a life-long friendship for the four of us. Hospitality was second nature to Norma, she always had enough for whoever came into her loving home. She loved to play games with us kids, she always told a good rib tickling stories and reenactment (ex: Cedar Point) that we'd be laughing till we cried.  High fashion along with high heels, full makeup, hair fixed perfectly, with jewelry to top off the look... that was just her normal everyday attire. Soon our tears of sorrow will be turned back into joy, making new memories.

Norma babysat my children, Tiffany and Patrick for close to 10 years. She took the best care of them and treated them like part of her family. As a working mom, I never had to worry while Norma had my children. I so appreciated her love and concern for my family.  

Norma loved to cook and made some of the best meals and desserts!  I will miss her very much!

Norma babysat for my brother Patrick and I for the majority of our childhood. She might have been the most loving person I know. Being at her home was always an adventure. As a young child I remember her having two fancy chairs. A yellow one and an orange one. Normie would let me pick which chair we sat in with my blankies and she would read me Golden Books. She always read with passion and expression. A bowl of her homemade chicken noodle soup would make you feel cozy and comforted for hours. I remember watching 80s shows such as Pinwheel, Sesame Street, and Mister Roger’s on her and Big Lewis’s big box tv with the wooden frame. I even remember when Meema Mascola (her mother) needed to move in. Norma’s care of us children never decreased as her responsibilities increased. As I grew I become passionate about wanting to be a teacher. I would “teach” her and poor Lisa for hours, assigning book reports I made them write from researching their World Books. All that practice paid off, as I taught thirteen years and have been a principal eight. Norma, I love you. You were a huge part of my childhood and will forever be in my heart!!

My mother loved children. Her favorite thing to do was care for and have a child in her arms.
Another thing my mother loved was cooking for others. I have fond memories of walking up to the front after school and smelling through the door spaghetti sauce cooking and chocolate chop cookies baking.
