Norma Lee (Reese) Lawwell

Norma Lee (Reese) Lawwell, age 88, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Pataskala Oaks Care Center. She was born October 7, 1925 to the late Don and Opal Metcalf Reese; also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Howard, in 2003 and son Vincent Reese Lawwell. Survived by daughter Cheryl, Reynoldsburg; daughter-in-law Janet Moore, Highlands Ranch, CO; grandson Vincent Lawwell (Tanya) Moore and great-granddaughter Olivia, of Blacklick, grandchildren Jaclyn Moore (Fedrick) Prakash-Mallela and Andrew Moore, Highlands Ranch, CO; brother Don (Karen) Reese and sister Joan Crumley Willard both of Lancaster; numerous nieces, nephews, other loved ones and friends. Norma graduated from Amanda High School in 1942, and Bliss College. She was an active member of Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church where she was a life member of RUMW and Mary Circle. Norma enjoyed friendships at the Reynoldsburg Senior Center and was an avid bridge player. Family will welcome friends 3-7pm Friday, December 27, 2013 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232. Funeral Service 10am Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, 1636 Graham Rd., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 with interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate; Pastor Maxine Smith-Pierce officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Bob Kober Endowment Fund, Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church.
