

Otis Harlan Prichard, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on November 27, 2018, at age 89. He was born on January 22, 1929, to Otis and Julia Ann (Webb) Prichard. Otis was married on October 30, 1953 to his wife, Ida Mae (Moore). Otis was a welder for 45 years, working for CandO and CSX railroad companies. A passionate Mason, Otis was a lifelong member of both the Lockbourne lodge #232, and Walnut Chapter lodge in Groveport, Ohio. He was also a member of the Gahanna Shriners and a member of the South High Street American Legion Post #144. Otis enjoyed being a Shriner and riding in his "Tin Lizzy" car during parades. A proud Army veteran, Otis served in the Korean War and was awarded the Expert Rifleman Medal during the time he served. Otis enjoyed gardening and the outdoors, taking trips to Canada to fish with his work friends. A family man, Otis enjoyed spending time and taking vacations with his wife and family. Otis is preceded in death by his brother Glenn and sisters Pauline Prichard and Virgie Small. He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years Ida Mae, son Carl Prichard (Brenda) of Marion Ohio, daughter Linda Prichard Speakman of Grove City, Ohio, granddaughters Jennifer Zizzo of Galion, Ohio and Christina Delaney of Marion, Ohio, and grandsons, Grant Speakman and Garet Speakman, both of Grove City, Ohio and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where funeral service will be held at 10am Saturday.
