

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Jane Rhoades and John Henry Rhoades, as well as numerous aunts and uncles whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by her aunt, Patricia Drummond; cousins Gretchen Fortner, Roger (Glenda) Hott, and Steven (Marie) Blubaugh; along with many additional cousins throughout the family.
Pam is also survived by beloved friends who were like family including: Kathy Ryan Lundberg; the Wright family—Thomas and Vicki, Steve and Michelle, Zachary, Aubrey, and McKenzie; and Mariah (Jon) Miskimen and their children Hunter, Emmalee, and Adam. Pam was a devoted member of the choir family at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (now St. Josephine Bakhita), and several charitable organizations, particularly those connected to faith and animal welfare.
An alumna of St. Mary of the Springs, Pam continued her education at Ohio Dominican University. She went on to retire from the Columbus City Schools, where she served faithfully as an art teacher.
Pam also lived a life of service through volunteer roles with the Ohio Village Historical Society, Girl Scouts, Certified Dog Therapy, and Citizens for Humane Action, an organization especially close to her heart.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:30am Thursday, December 4, 2025 at St. Josephine Bakhita Catholic Church, 6077 Sharon Woods Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43229, where friends will be received from 10-10:30am Thursday. Interment will follow the Mass at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Citizens for Humane Action (3765 Corporate Drive, Columbus, OH 43231) in honor of Pam’s lifelong love for animals.
