Patricia (Patty) Marie Kienle Billingsley, age 74, born in Columbus, Ohio on September 26, 1948, passed away on June 19, 2023 after a lengthy illness. Patty was the second of eight children born to Lawrence Robert and Miriam Doris (Willoughby) Kienle Jr. who preceded her in death along with brothers, James Kienle and Lawrence (Schmaltz) Robert Kienle III and ex-husband Michael Billingsley.
Patty is survived by her siblings, Mary Ann (Bill) Graue, Pete (Cindy Long) Kienle, Angela (Rex) Smith, Cindy (David) Sheets, Jane (Dean Bramlet) Kienle and sister-in-law Marjorie Kienle; her children, Barbra Ann (Tom) Galbraith, Amy (Matt) Svetlick, and Michael (Kari) Billingsley. Grandchildren, Anthony (Nicole) Galbraith, Jennifer (Vince) Gibson, Cassandra Galbraith, Nicholas (Billie) Galbraith, Elayna Svetlick, Meghan and Nathaniel Oliver; and great-grandchildren Brayden Galbraith-Starr, Vivian Gibson, Mia Oliver, and Leah Galbraith.
Patty was born in Columbus, Ohio, raised in Grove City, Ohio and graduated from Grove City High School, class of 1966. She attended Ohio Dominican University and graduated from Ohio State University. She taught school at St. Michael’s in Worthington, spent many years in the food service industry managing several restaurants in Columbus, Ohio and retired from Franklin County Jobs and Family Services.
