

Patricia Tucker Casey, 77, was totally at peace when she passed away November 6, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving wife, mother (2nd mother to many!), grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt and friend. She was welcomed into heaven by her children, Roger Casey and Shannon Casey Mers, great-grandson Elijah Love and her parents, J.Virgil and Gertrude (Bergsted) Tucker. Pat was born January 29, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois and spent her formative years in Duluth, Minnesota. She graduated from Duluth Central High School, class of 1955, where she met the love of her life, John "Roger" Casey. She accepted his hand in marriage on August 11, 1956. Eventually they moved their family to central Ohio, currently residing in Grove City. Pat was a highly respected advocate in the Osteosarcoma community, and connected through "Osteo Moms" where she was a counsellor and advisor to many. She also served on the board of Golfers Against Cancer - Columbus. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John C. Casey; mother of 5 children, Roger Casey (deceased), Randy Casey (Donna), Ryan Casey, Pamela Moran (Mike) and Shannon Casey Mers(deceased) (Jeffrey); She was known as Nana Pat and Gramma Casey to many beloved grandchildren: Greg Miller (Tracy), Amanda Love (James), Scott Casey (Danielle), Sean Casey, Seth Casey, Casey Mers; great-grandchildren, Jordan Love, Brooklyn Miller, Jaden Miller, Elijah Love (deceased) and Aliyah Love; sister, Sandra Rocklin (Mike) and their children, Michael (Tara), Alisha, Bonnie and Tommy Rocklin; sister-in-law Patricia Stabs and her children, Melissa Brown, Steven Broiher, Ruth Broiher Cesa, Melinda Juno and Michael Stabs; many cousins including Barbie Hazlett; extended family and many close family friends. Pat was a strong believer and found peace in what was to come… A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2pm Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 where family will welcome friends beginning at 1pm; a reception will follow.
