Patti lived a life of service to others. After serving in a brief administrative role with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, she found her calling as she faithfully served the children at Thomas Worthington High School as a cafeteria worker for over four decades. Whether at work or at home, nothing brought her greater joy than using her God-given talents in feeding and caring for others, including all of God's creatures. Doing so was truly her love language!
The only thing that surpassed the love of her family was her love for Jesus. She was an example for all who knew her that her Faith was what sustained her through so many difficult times, but which also magnified the joy in her life. She consistently and selflessly made herself available to help others anytime she could (and even when she really was no longer able). She was a true example of what it means being the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need.
The family will have a private service to celebrate Patti and her life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations being made in Patti’s memory to any of the organizations that meant so much to her: Maize Manor United Methodist Church www.maizemanor.umc.org or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org
