Patricia Ann Ludwig

Pat was born in German Village on October 7, 1927, and was a 1945 graduate of St. Mary Catholic School, where she played the mellophone in the marching band. She married Frederick “Fritz” Thomas Ludwig on July 12, 1952, and the two were happily married for 37 years. Pat felt fortunate to live in her Upper Arlington home for 57 years, until the age of 96. While living in Upper Arlington, Pat was a devoted member of St. Agatha Church. Pat worked as a bookkeeper at several companies and retired from Ohio Semitronics when she was 72. She liked the OSU Buckeyes, owls, feeding the squirrels, and vodka slush.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Hope Seipel, her husband Fritz, and her siblings Bill and Bob Seipel, Catherine DePascale, and her brother-in-law Vince DePascale. Pat is survived by her loving children; Judy (Bob) Vogler, Mike (Janie) Ludwig, Dan (Patti) Ludwig, and Ann Ludwig (Bob Klepper); her cherished grandchildren Margie and Scott Manchook, Katherine (Adam) Mitchell, Stephen (Callie) Ludwig, Thomas (Anna) Ludwig, Lauren (Jay) Koehler, and David Ludwig; her great-grandchildren Joey, Olivia, Tory, Declan, Teagan, and Landon; and her sister's-in-law Mary and Ann Seipel; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 4-7PM at Schoedinger Northwest, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus 43221. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 10AM at St. Agatha Church, 1860 Northam Rd., Upper Arlington 43221, followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High St., Lockbourne 43137.
