

Patricia Fields Merriman passed away on November 7, 2016. Born in 1925 to Wyatt Milton, Sr. and Mary Z. Fields, she was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Joseph F. Merriman, brother and sister-in-law, Wyatt Milton, Jr. and Martha Fields, nephew, Michael G. Fields, great-nephew, John Wyatt Fields. She is survived by her nieces and their families: Susan Fields Tamker (Joseph) of Stow, Massachusetts, Nancy Fields of Columbus, Marybeth Spencer (Ted) of E. Harwich, Massachusetts, Patricia Blanco (Andy) of South Chatham, Massachusetts, and Noreen Fields of Ashland, Massachusetts. Pat is also survived by Joe’s niece, Jeanie Yoder Miller of Laporte, Indiana and many wonderful friends and neighbors, especially Ann Flaherty, Susan Scharenberg, and Kathy Koch. Pat's nieces would like to thank the caregivers at Comfort Keepers for their loving care over the past months as well as the OhioHealth Hospice team who provided care and support for Aunt Pat as well as for her family. Pat's love of nature began when her East High School botany class would walk to Franklin Park, where the Conservatory was a favorite destination. Pat was a creative person which showed in her home, her gardens and her being. Pat Merriman's family would like to invite her friends and neighbors to join them at Bravo!
