Patricia Ann Sickles

Patricia Ann "Pat" Sickles, age 81, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at her residence. She was born on July 5, 1933 in Chillicothe, Ohio. She married Jack Sickles and remained by his side for 61 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Burcham. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Deborah Sickles and Nancy (Tim) O'Neal; two grandsons, Kyle (Ashley) O'Neal and Sean O'Neal; great grandson, Jack O'Neal; half-sister, Jackie (Paul) Clark; and two nieces, Cheri and Kim. Pat graduated from South High School in 1951. She was a member of TWIG; she loved to play tennis, cards, to travel, go antiquing, and gardening. Pat will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family first. She loved the holidays and would bake and cook family recipes. She will be deeply missed and kept forever in our hearts. Friends may call on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. In lieu of flowers donations in Pat's memory may be made to Heartland Hospice or The Arthritis Foundation.
