Patricia Ann Tompkins, 79 of Columbus, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010. She was born March 11, 1931 in Columbus to the late James and Clara Flannigan. She was a homemaker, a loving, faithful and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She played Bingo at Westerville High School and St. James and was an avid bowler. She was a great comfort to her family who will dearly miss her. She is preceded in death by son-in-law Fred W. Boron, sister Clara F. Bigler, sister-in-law Virginia A. Hubbard, in laws Cydnor E. and Magdalena R. Tompkins and parents. She is survived by her loving husband Frank, children James E. (Mona) Tompkins and Patricia A. Boron, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, sisters Mary E. Burns and Nancy L. (Jerry) Laird. Family will receive friends Thursday from 4-7 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where a funeral service will be Friday at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
