

Patrick Michael Bresnahan, age 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 17, 2018 at First and Main Memory Care Center in Lewis Center, Ohio. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Elizabeth Jo (nee Edmondson), daughter Julia (Brad) Simmerer, son Brian (Tina) Bresnahan, sister Kathy (Dick) Glick, brother Tim (Carol) Bresnahan, five grandchildren Corey Simmerer, Catie Simmerer, Ally Bresnahan, Dylan Bresnahan, Carter Simmerer, brother-in-law Bobby (Marie) Edmondson, friend for life Tom Clapp and many more family and friends who loved him. Pat was born June 24, 1941 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Robert and Katherine (Sullivan) Bresnahan. He was a 1959 graduate from South Whitley High School. He graduated from St. Joseph's College in 1964 and obtained his MBA at Central Michigan in 1985. Pat married the love of his life, Elizabeth, on October 16, 1965. Colonel Bresnahan was employed by the Airforce from 1964 to 2001 in both active and civilian duty and retired as an Associate Dean at AFIT at Wright-Patterson AFB. From 2001 to 2016, Pat enjoyed his retirement years playing golf and making wonderful friends in Pinehurst, N.C. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday October 8, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINIGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, OH 43085.
