Pauline Elizabeth Lyons

Pauline Elizabeth (Ferrell) Lyons, 93, passed away from Alzheimer's at Worthington Christian Village on February 8, 2015. Born near Dresden, OH to Raymond and Mabel Ferrell, she grew up on the Adamsville Road near Zanesville. Pauline is preceded in death by husband of 72 years Donald Herron Lyons, and brothers Robert (Kathryn) Ferrell, and Donald (Mary Bee) Ferrell. After high school Pauline completed a secretarial course and worked briefly in Zanesville until marrying her high school sweetheart and moving to Columbus. Pauline devoted the remainder of her life caring for her family and was best known for the excellent meals she could pull together at a moment's notice. She is survived by daughter, Diane (James) Short; grandchildren, Greg (Laura) Short and Amy (Mark) Farrell, and great grandchildren, Katie and Emily Short and Jack, Nick and Luke Farrell. Family will receive friends Friday, February 13, 2015 from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
