Penelope L. Miller

Penelope grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She attended Capital University, where she met her husband, Lowell Miller (Al). She graduated from Capital University with a degree in Elementary Education. She was a 2nd grade teacher at Montrose Elementary School in Bexley for many years, until her retirement.

She was very active with Christ Lutheran Church. A lifelong learner and teacher. Penelope loved to travel with her family to the Outer Banks (OBX), and Arizona. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and quilting, and was fond of British mysteries.

Penelope was preceded in death by her loving husband Lowell Miller. She will be deeply missed by her loving children Jan Miller, Kara Miller and Zachary (Jewele) Miller; grandchildren Zachary Miller Jr. and Callie Miller; and sister Melissa Carter.

A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 2314 E. Main Street, Bexley, Ohio 43209 on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 11:00am.
