Philip Woody passed away at his residence. Philip is preceded in death by his mother; Helen L. Woody, brother; Steven Woody, and son Jacob Charles Woody. Philip is survived by his father; Charles R. Woody, his former wife of 35 years; Vera Woody, sons; Aaron Woody and Joshua Woody, daughter; Lydia Woody. Grandchildren; Alexis Woody and Elisa Woody. Mother to grandchildren; Melissa Woody. Philip was a graduate of Mifflin High School and Columbus State. He worked for many years for Nationwide Insurance. Philip loved cooking, spending time with his family, and camping. Visitation and services will be held at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL Tuesday July 12, 2016 from 11am-1pm with a funeral services at 1pm. Burial will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park.
