Phillips H. Paulsen

Phillips H. Paulsen, age 80 of Whitehall, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Phill was born in Palmerton, Pennsylvania, only child of the late Edgar and Evelyn Paulsen. Also preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Paulsen. Phill was a steadfast man who could sometimes be quite ornery. He was a sports fanatic, avid golfer, and enjoyed watching numerous sporting events, sometimes at the same time. Phill was a generous and dependable man who especially loved being a grandfather. He will be missed by his children, Phillips (Janet) Paulsen II, Karen (Dan) Churry, and Mike (Lori) Paulsen; grandchildren, Heather (Eric) Davis, Hillary (Keith) Fraley, Courtney (Shane) Price, Corey (Jolene) Churry, and Stephanie, Michael Bruce II, Cayman, Michaela and Jaycelen Paulsen; 6 great grandchildren; longtime family friend, Mary Lou Lautzenheiser; and many other dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, February 14, 2011 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where family will receive friends from 2-5 P.M. Sunday.
