Phyllis Anne Rucker

Phyllis Anne Rucker passed away peacefully June 3, 2021 at The Inn at Olentangy Trail, Delaware, Ohio. Phyllis was born June 27, 1930 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Howard and Thelma Dean. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Frederick, to whom she was wed from 1947 until his death on April 17, 2000. Phyllis is survived by her sons, Roger (Linda), Ronald (Susie), and Robert (Amy), eleven grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as well. Phyllis attended West High School and had a passion for homemaking and spending time with her grandchildren. She relished caring for horses, scrapbooking, dancing, custom making her much sought-after baby blankets, and her faith. Phyllis loved laughter filled competitive euchre "tournaments" and going to the theater. She was a member of Mountview Christian Church, Upper Arlington, Ohio. There will be a service for the family on the afternoon of June 11, 2021 followed by interment at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
