Phyllis Shepard

Shepard, Phyllis Ann (Paver), age 82, Reynoldsburg, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a graduate of Berea High School in 1952 and received her BS in Public Administration and Business Administration from Franklin University, Columbus, Ohio, in 1986. Phyllis's many talents included competitive ballroom dancing, seamstress, and avid bridge, poker, euchre, and scrabble player. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. Preceded in death by her son James, her parents John and Helen Paver, her sister Carol Farnsworth, and brother John 'Jack' Paver. She is survived by her children Diane Shepard (Scott Jackson), Stephen Shepard (Kim), John Shepard (Terri) , Linda Rowley (Mike) , and Laura Shepard (Candi Cook). Thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dearest friend, Susan Morcone. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43232. A remembrance of life service will immediately follow the viewing. Burial service afterwards at Glen Rest Memorial Estates. If desired, friends may make memorial contributions to Zusman Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
