Phyllis Irene Thompson

Phyllis Irene Thompson, age 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 12, 1939, to late Charles and Hazel (Eubank) Catron in Columbus, Ohio. She was a devoted and longtime member of Pentecostal Lighthouse Church. Her Lord and her family were everything to her and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Ron Thompson; siblings, Charles, Jr., Thomas, Rosemary, Ethel, Frances, Katherine, Earl and Carrie. She is survived by loving husband of 41 years, Donald Thompson; children, Bob (Yvonne) Thompson, Robin (Tom) Walbright and Deana (Jeremy) Morrow; grandchildren, Shawn Thompson, Stephanie (Doug) Lilly, Brandi (Steve) Miller, Ashley (Matt) Doughty, Corey (Carrie) Walbright, Taylor and Chase Edwards; great-grandchildren, Laila, Hannah, Madison, Isabella, Morgan, Elliot and Sophia; sister, Beverly Maier; many nieces and nephews; along with close friend, Pastor Shirley Lester. Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, where a funeral service will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. Pastor Ray Knapp officiating. Interment to follow the service at Green Lawn Cemetery.
