Phyllis L. Trianfo

Phyllis L. Trianfo, Born in East St.Louis, Missouri to Phillip (Fred) LaZarrus and Christine (Barnes) on June 9th, 1934. Died with family at her side on May 10, 2012 after a relatively short battle with cancer. Moved to Columbus, Ohio, at age one, where she was raised with siblings Richard (deceased), Joann ( deceased age 7), Barbara (Mike Mascherino), Steve (Kandy), Janet and Sharon. Preceded in death by husband (Victor) of 45 years with whom she raised loving children, Joann (Barry) Lincoln, Gina Trianfo, Victor (Susan) Trianfo and Rita Hail. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren (Alison, Alex, Phillip, Olivia and Jeremy) for whom she was always proud and relished in their accomplishments. A long time member and sacristan of Sts. Augustine and Gabriel parish, Phyllis was an active member and volunteer who supported her church community and local parochial school serving in most every capacity. She valued education, hard work and self-sacrifice for her family and the needs of others. Friends will be received at Schoedinger funeral home, 5554 Karl Road, on Monday, May 14th from 2-4pm. and 6-8pm with Rosary at 7:30pm. The funeral mass will be held Tuesday, May 15th at 10:30am at Sts. Augustine and Gabriel Catholic Church, 1550 E. Hudson St., Columbus, Ohio.
