Quinten J. Patterson, age 60, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on August 10, 2024. He was born on January 18, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio to Frederick and Ida Luvenia (Little) Times. Quinten joins in death his father Frederick Times; brother James Earl Patterson and brother in law James Agnew Sr. Quinten leaves behind his mother Ida Luvenia (Little) Times; son Joaquin L. Patterson and bonus kids Isaiah and Iyana; Sheila West mother of Joaquin L. Patterson; siblings Sandra Agnew, Duane (Edith) Patterson and Kimberly Times. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and close friends including special friend Nellie (Peaches) Scarville and his best friend Darryl Crumiell. Quinten began his career at age 18, in transportation and he later became the unit coordinator for the transportation department. He was employed for 42 years with Grant Hospital until he became terminally ill and was no longer able to work. Quinten was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and had several nicknames including ‘Q’, Bay Bay, Jazz and The God Father. Quinten attended West High School and also played for the JAJYC Kalongis. He loved his music and hanging with his buddies at Club Q's (mommy's house). Visitation will be held on Friday Aug. 16, 2024 from 2PM to 3:30PM with a celebration of Life service starting at 3:30PM at Advantage Funeral and Cremations by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204.
