Lit a candle in memory of Ralph Walter Goff

Ralph was a wonderful man and I am very sorry the world lost him so early.

A very wonderful, kind and considerate man was taken from so many people, way too soon. Ralph and I ran on the Deerfield Township Squad for several years...I will never forget the day he came to the Station to talk me into letting him take my place on a very possible dangerous run. I was pregnant with my youngest child at the time, and Ralph knew that I was on was on call that day...He said that he didn't want anything to happen to my unborn baby, or to myself. Ralph took my place that day when he didn't have to, and I will be forever greatful to him. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Ralph's family and friends. He will truly be missed, but never ever forgotten.

My life was shaped by TWO sets of parents...my own, and Ralph and Lynn.  I was a member of the church youth group, but more so, I was one of theirs.  Ralph and Lynn gave so much of themselves to us.  They gave up their weekends, their vacations, their evenings-they were ALWAYS available to us.  No questions asked.  They taught us how to love each other, how to forgive each other, how to keep God in our lives even at the ages when peer pressure was at it's greatest.  They loved us and we loved them back, two-fold.  Ralph and Lynn attended our graduations, our weddings, our family funerals, and our children's births.  There are so many things that we reminisced about over the past week...all those hamburgers, monster cookies, scrambled eggs, and pancakes that Ralph and Lynn lovingly prepared at church camp.  Having a flat tire on the van that was over loaded with all of us kids, slumber bags, and suitcases.  But Ralph was at the wheel and with God's help, his expertise kept us all safe.  The mud fights and grabbing Ralph and Lynn and pulling them into the mud with us...The serious talks we had about our faith, our relationship with our parents, our futures, our love-lives...and making the right decisions.  There are so many good times to remember....but I think the things I  will remember the most are their smiles-they could both light up a room.  Lynn's laughter will never be forgotten-I remember it still...the big bear hugs that Ralph gave us all...and mostly...I will remember how much love they gave us.  I will forever love you and miss you both.  I love you Lynn and Ralph.

Ralph & Lynn Goff two of the finest people you could ever know and work with.  Many fond memories from the golf course in the RCI/CCI Golf League on Fridays.  I worked for Ralph in 5 House at RCI when I was a c/o.  It was so sad to learn of his passing.  May God Bless and comfort his family.

To The Goff Family...I was blessed to have worked with Ralph at R.C.I. and have many, many great memories of him.  He was truly a super person and we have lost a great man.  We always had a little joke between us and shared many great laughs and happy times.  I will miss him, cherish our memories and never ever forget him.

J.D., Teri, Jessie and Amy, I am so sorry to hear about Ralph's passing. He was always very good to me. His advice for me last summer really helped me.  I bet him and Lynn are having a big reunion.  If there is anything I can do please let me know.

To the family of Ralph and Lynn Goff.  We lost two great people when we lost these two soles.  I worked, and was friends with  Lynn at CCI for many years.  And Ralph and I shared our time together in Leadership Training Classes for the state.  Ralph and I went to many different institutions each month, and when I would pick Ralph up each morning at home, I would always see him coming out to the car with this smiling face, and two cups of coffee that Lynn made for us each day.  They will be and are, very missed by their friends.

My sincere condolences to Ralph's family and friends. I worked with Ralph at CCI and will remember him with fondness.

To the Goff family,  We worked with Ralph at Ross Correctional for many years. What a joy he was to be around. He was on the interview panel that hired me (Sue) and I was also a member of the Twin Twp. Vol. F.D. so we knew each other thru the county's association. We are very sorry to hear of his death. Our thoughts are with you.

To the Goff and Williams families. Don and I were sad to hear of Ralph's passing,.  I first met Ralph in 1970 just before he and Lynn were to be married and we remained friends for 40 years. I have so many good memories of Ralph it is hard to share all.  We will always cherish the times spent with Ralph and Lynn, particularly when moving to Arizona...it was such a memorable experience.  Also the times we spent gambling together with Ralph always being the anchor of the foursome.

Ralph, thanks for everything.  While I was young you and Lynn meant the world to me.  Throughout my life I have taken the things we have shared in Methodist Youth Fellowship with me.  Knowing you has made me a better person.  Thanks again.
