

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and two sisters. He is survived by son, Scott (Michelle), Grove City, OH; daughter, Sarah (James) Vosmik, Cortland, OH; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Madison Hughes, and Paige and Charles Vosmik; a sister, Ann Beckley, Cadiz, OH; and many nieces and nephews. He was a WWII veteran who served in Europe.
An Ohio University graduate, he was a member of Sigma NU Fraternity and served on the Alumni Board of Directors. He did graduate study in bank management and investments, and taught eight years in the American Institute of Banking.
He retired as Vice President from National City Bank in 1989, after which he co-founded a consulting company from which he retired as President in 1997. He was active in civic, banking, and computer related organizations, was president of the National City Bank Quarter Century Club, and served eighteen years as President of the Ohio Library Foundation. He was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church.
