Raymond M. Carpenter

Raymond M. Carpenter, 72, peacefully passed away December 4, 2013. He was born to the late John and Eva Carpenter on February 25, 1941 in Chandlersville, Ohio. Raymond was an independent, hardworking, caring, and proud father of 4 boys. He was a long time driver for Consolidated Freightways and an active member of Teamsters Local 413. Raymond also loved cats and enjoyed home renovation. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan (Gardner); sister, Marylou Carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Ileana (Alexandrescu); sons, Brent (Carrie), Brian (Laura), Bruce (Elizabeth), and Brady (Kristina) Carpenter; grandchildren, Shannon, Brandon, Brittany, Christina, Zachary, Brenden and Krista; great-grandsons, Aldan, Ethan and Oliver; siblings, John (Elsie), Berna Jean (Jerry), and Clarence (Kay); extended family and friends.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. or 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 or 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday December 11, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N High St., Worthington, OH 43085, where Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday December 11, 2013.
