A veteran, having served with the United States Marine Corps.
Richard attended and graduated from The Ohio Sate University where he went on to be a Respiratory Therapist. Many years later he begun his second career as a truck driver from which he retired.
Richard is survived by his mother Katherine Scherbarth; his son Derek (Megan) Scherbarth; three grandchildren; Amelia, Ariella and Aaliyah Scherbarth; his sister Karen Scherbarth.
Richard is proceed in death by his father; and his sister Kathy Scherbarth.
Family and friends will gather 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Rd.
