Dear Will & family -- I'm the ex-wife of your Uncle Daryl.  I first met your mother in San Diego, CA in 1970, when Daryl & I moved there. Risa was welcoming and accepting; she loaned me a dress to wear to job interviews. We went to the beach in La Jolla together.  Daryl & I visited her in Harrisburg right after Nicole was born; we all got in the car to go out to eat and then remembered the baby had been left in the house; we all laughed and Risa said, "She's so new we're not used to having her yet!" then ran back to get her.  I spent many holidays & family reunions with your mother in the early days, but didn't see much of her after moving to Arizona, although she wrote a very loving letter to my daughter, Zekeyla,  when she was a young teenager and she and I shared a couple of long heart-to-heart phone calls during those years.  Risa and I reconnected in person a year and a half ago when I was traveling thru Columbus. She insisted I stay with her overnight & she collected the Robinson ladies, Marie, Jocelyn, and Tia, together for a little party with me.  We caught up on our lives and reminisced about the old days. Risa told me about her travels, and we shared how much joy our respective grandchildren give us. Risa was always a fun and kind sister-in-law,  accepting and generous with me, and I was looking forward to seeing her again when I next travel to Columbus.   I know Risa will be greatly missed by all her family and friends; I will always have a loving place in my heart for her memory. --Tommie Miller

The Stephenson family is both shocked and sadden by the passing of our sweet, smart and beautiful cousin Risa J. Miller.

She was one of most intelligent, resilient, funny, encouraging and tenacious woman I've ever know.

We were truly blessed to have known her and to have her be just an intricate and joyous part of our family and lives.

She will forever be in our hearts and on our minds.

Rest in peace dear, sweet cousin.

Risa what a beautiful person and friend .sending my condolences to the entire Miller family rest in peace Risa.

I will miss her smiling face, her style, and grace, the phone calls that could easily turn into 2 hours, the times spent on the porch relaxing while she identified any bird that came to one of the bird feeders, So thankful for the advice she gave over the years. She was so knowledgeable about so many things in life. I lovingly called her Risa Mae. My kids loved her too, she was my daughter’s garden guru as they both shared a love for planting. 
 She will be missed so much by so many. So glad she graced my life.

Gigi, thank you for being the best Great grandma to Cam and for treating me like family from the very beginning! Cam and I are blessed to have experienced many adventures with you. I will miss getting calls from you to coordinate birthday and holiday gatherings, and just to say you were thinking of us. I'm thankful to have voicemails and pictures as memories that will live on forever! Please kiss Ms. Nicole for me & Cam. We love you so much! ❤️

Risa was one of my favorite supervisors  at Medco.   She was a kind, encouraging wonderful person. She always lite up a room with her presents. My condolences to her loved ones and all who knew her

Risa, such a wonderful lady . The minute she walked into my water class I knew we would be fast friends . She was always so positive,up beat and friends to all.  I am so saddened to read Risa has passed . She hasn’t been in class for a while now however her classmates always ask about her . I have missed her .
How fortunate and blessed I have been to know Risa ,GOD allowed our paths to cross.
