

Rita Carol (Otto) Horn, 62, died at home on March 2, 2010. She was born February 10, 1948 in Marion, Ohio, to Jacob W. and Geneva (Masters) Otto. She graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1966. She worked at Peck and Martin, CPAs in Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Jeffrey L. Otto and Richard Kent Otto. She is survived by three daughters, Sundae Horn and husband Rob Temple of Ocracoke, NC, Dana Grimes and husband Cyrus Grimes of Hilliard, OH, and Devon Horn and husband Chris Anderson of Lilburn, GA and six grandchildren, Emmet, Caroline and Mariah Daisy Temple, and Madeline, Elias, and Beatrice Grimes; a niece, Tina Otto of Middletown, OH; and stepfather, Ed Seaton of Marion, OH. She will also be missed by extended family and good friends too numerous to list. Rita loved to play board games, work puzzles, and play cards. She loved music and quilting and flowers and spending time with her friends. She was an avid reader, and her great love of books was passed on to her children and grandchildren. She was happiest being the beloved Mum to her grandchildren. She was a doting grandmother who read stories, made up games, baked cookies, and sewed princess dresses. A celebration of her life will be held with a visitation 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 5 and a funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, March 6 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL 1740 Zollinger Rd.
