Robert L. Broom, age 62, of Columbus, Ohio passed peacefully on November 5, 2011. Robert was happiest when he was doing construction work or cheering on the Cleveland Browns. Above all, he loved his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce (Haynes) Broom and his parents, John and Mary Broom. Survived by his daughters, Mary (James) Tuck and Indora Broom; stepsons, Phillip Haynes I and Kevin Penn Sr.; brother-in-law, Paul R. Haynes and a host of other family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 where family will receive friends from 12-1pm; Interment Evergreen Burial Park.
