Robert L. Browning, age 75 of Columbus, passed away Monday, January 25, 2010. Robert was born in Champagne, Illinois, son of the late, William and Florence Browning. Also preceded in death by his brother, William Browning. U.S. Army Veteran. Civic organizations and clubs were very important to Robert. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Ach Bar Grotto, Kentucky Colonel, and the Aladdin Shrine. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lois; very much loved children, Mary Lou (Harry) Kirk, Grace (David) McClure, Karen Ehman, Ron Adams, and Cheri Olson; 6 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Arlene Deibel, Fern (Richard) Heitz, and Barbara Hix; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Memorial service will be held February 11, 2010 at 6:00 pm at Mountview Baptist Church, 2140 Fishinger Rd. Pastor Kevin Snyder officiating.
