Robert Lee Childs

Robert L. Childs Jr., age 48, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Rob was born in Frankfurt, Germany on February 16, 1971 to Robert L. and Helen Christine Childs. He graduated high school and proudly joined the US Marines Corps serving his country from 1991 - 1993. Rob was currently working for Wayne Construction. He was an avid fisherman and Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. Rob also enjoyed hanging out with his sons and nephews who were called the Three Amigos. He will be remembered for his fun loving spirit and helping others. Preceded in death by his father, Robert Sr.; and sister, Rebecca Childs. Survived by his mother, Helen Pasters; sons, Tyler and Hunter Childs; wife, Louquilla Beal; sisters, Christine (Jerry) Windgrove, Sherry Morales, Michelle and Nancy; lots of nieces, nephews and other relatives; good friend, Nancy Pore and her daughter, Clara. Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Heart and Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. Interment will take place in Dunbar, Pennsylvania at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. The family request if you have any Pittsburgh Steeler clothing or Black, White and Gold please wear it in honor of Rob.
