Robert “Bob” Chirico, age 67, passed away on November 29, 2011 at Mount Carmel East after a long battle with heart disease. Bob was a 1962 graduate of Reynoldsburg High School and a 1967 graduate of OSU. He then served as a Captain in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Minnesota, Saudi Arabia, and Washington D.C. After a long career in retail management and procurement, he retired and found his passion in buying and selling sport memorabilia and rescuing cats. He is survived and will be sorely missed by his brothers, Chuck, Tom, and Sam Chirico; sisters, Gail Kellogg and Carole Crites; his two beloved sons, Chris (fiancé Kelly) Chirico, currently residing in the Czech Republic and Kyle (Sheree) Chirico of Florence, KY; and the three joys of his life, grandsons, Connor, Cameron, and Chayse of Florence, KY. At Bob’s request no services will be held. Donations in Bob’s name may be made to your local Humane Society or the SPCA.
