Robert E. Froman

Robert Edward Froman, age 79, passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 30, 2010. He was born in Louisville, KY, on March 28, 1931, to the late Obie and Bonnie Froman. Bob was a veteran of the US Army, and he attended the University of Louisville. He worked as a buyer for the Dupont Company, retiring after more than 40 years. Bob enjoyed traveling and fishing, and he served as a Junior Achievement advisor for many years. Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia (Suell) Froman; children, Alan Froman, Stephen (Sandra) Froman, and Susan (Scott) Johnson; brothers, Harold and Joseph (JoAnn) Froman; grandchildren, Nicholas (Emily) Froman; step-grandchildren, Desirae, Maria, and Emily; great grandchildren, Taegan and Eli; and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Kays. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, December 3, at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio. Family will also receive friends from 1-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy., Louisville, KY, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville.
