

Robert Eugene Hager, age 82, passed away on Sunday, January 6th 2013 surrounded by family. Robert was born on April 26, 1930, and was a long-time resident of Upper Arlington, where he graduated high school and lettered in football, basketball and baseball. He attended Ohio Wesleyan University where he was a member where he was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity.
Bob was the proud owner of Hill Tailoring Company for 30 years, and a Sales Representative for Lock Stove. Bob was a founding member of Hickory Hills Golf Club, member of First Community Church where he was involved in the couples circle, the Northwest Kiwanis and Young Men’s Business Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. and Reva Jellison Hager; and brothers, Frank and William Hager. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hill Hager; brother, Tracy Hager of Chicago, Illinois; daughters, Patti Van Dyke (Paul) of Atlanta, Georgia, and Traci Peterson (Parr); and sons, Robert W. Hager (Laura) and Dan (Carey) Hendrickson; grandchildren, Christi (Luis Reyes) Peterson, Sandi (Samuel) Porter III, Stephani (Adam) Lessman, Katie (Josh) Hopkins, Karie (William) Pepmiller, Carsyn Hager, and Grant Hager; and 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, OH, where family will receive friends immediately following the service until 6 p.m., Rev. James Long, officiating. Private interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
