Robert L. High, 91, of Groveport, OH and Marco Island, FL December 17, 2013, at Mount Carmel East Heart Center. He was born August 2, 1922 in Bucyrus, OH. Preceded in death by parents Laurie and Zillah (Atkinson) High and brother Evan Geoffery. He is survived by his loving wife Ellen (Green) High, children James L. High, Donna High Briggs, Susan High Gardner, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He retired as group vice president from Quaker Chemical Company. He was a veteran of USMC and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati in chemistry. Bob was an avid lover of art; he also enjoyed history and classical music. He volunteered at the Columbus Literacy Council, Mount Carmel East Hospital and Broad Street Presbyterian Church Food Pantry. Donations may be made to the University of Cincinnati Chemistry Department, Broad Street Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice. A memorial service in Bob’s memory will be held on January 18th at 1:30PM at Broad Street Presbyterian Church.
