Robert John Kuhn

Robert J. Kuhn, TSgt. USAF, Ret., passed away October 22, 2013. Bob was born March 31, 1935 in Brackenridge, PA to the late Robert A. and Irene M. Kuhn. He served 3 tours of duty in Vietnam and retired from Rickenbacker with 24 years of service; also retired from DCSC. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy Jean (Lewis) Kuhn; sons, Gary (Paula) Kuhn and Bryan (Kris) Kuhn; grandchildren, Adam Kuhn, Stacy and Laura Rheyne, Carrie (Sean) Locus and Eileen Colgrove; 13 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law AG (Nell) Lewis; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, including beloved family friends, Reggy and Robin Howorka. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1200 S. Waggoner Rd., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 where Bob will have the honor of being the first person to be placed in Messiah Lutheran Church’s Columbarium. Family and friends are encouraged to attend in casual attire; jumpsuits optional. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church’s Building Fund.
