•	Patrick, I attempted to give a glimpse of what it was like to work with Rob. I cannot do it justice. Feel free to edit, clip or cut things out what you may or may not need.  He was a great man that was taken too soon. 
It is just so surreal that Rob is no longer with us. Now that he is gone, you definitely can tell something is missing. When Rob was around, well he just had this charisma about him & it just made the day a little better. 
Talking with Rob you knew he loved his family, especially his grandbabies. One of the things he would say at the end of the day is “I am going to go home & hangout with my friends, his grandkids, because that was his friends.” Whenever he would get a new picture of the boys (Noah, Aiden, & Mathew) or the twins, he would make a copy of the picture & hang it in Fluid Bed 2. Now were not allowed to hang up things of that nature but nobody said anything because they could see that he was a proud grandpa. 
He also loved his animals including his gran-dog, Bentley. One time when Lori & Rob were dog sitting Bentley, Rob didn’t come into work & when asked the next day what happened, He said with a big grin on his face that after getting ready decided to snuggle up with Bentley & fell back asleep. It was a little bit of heaven for him snuggling with his dogs. 
With knowing Rob over the years, I’ve learned a lot & not just with the job but also about dirt bikes, Hockey (Blue Jackets), Kentucky Derby & hunting. Now Rob would prepare for hunting by collecting the apples that had fallen from the apple tree in his yard & freezing them until hunting season. One of his friends gave him permission to hunt on their land but to get to it, would require him to walk through a pasture with cows. Well one time either early in the morning around dawn or the dusk of the evening he went to go put the apples down for the deer. He said that as he was walking with the apple through the pasture, that he turned around & saw the cows just following behind him creeping him out. 
They are so many stories that telling just one will not do him justice. He was a great trainer, coworker & friend & I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to work beside him.

I have known Rob since high School and had many a good time hunting and fishing and ridding dirt bikes. He was a good family man and friend to many. Sure going to miss you bud!

Rob~ I worked with you over fifteen years and we developed a good friendship over that time, You were always willing to help me with anything I needed and you were a great co-worker, I'm always gonna miss hearing your stories about growing up, Remembering the first time we went Canoeing on the Big Darby Creek and you reeling in that huge Buffalo Sucker and then you telling me it's time to crack open a Nati' Lite, Rest in Peace my Brother.

Our condolences and prayers to the family during there time of grief. I have worked with Rob over the past eight years and what a pleasure to be around. We have had many laughs and also shared times of sadness that we were experiencing and was always able to lift each other up. There is the promise of no more pain and suffering and a new body and I believe that is what Rob is experiencing. Lean on our God and Savior during this time and it will ease the pain.

I am a co-worker with Rob at Hikma, we have spent many hours together with a fishing rod in hand waiting for the Walleyes to bite. During those hours the conversation would always turn to Rob's family and the love he had for all of them. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Rob, I wish you cool breezes and tight lines!

I was hired in the same time that Rob was. We were in the same orientation class together and formed a great friendship. I was also his automotive mechanic for years. He was always smiling and in a good mood. I will miss him as a friend and co-worker.

Rob (aka 'Dependable Rob') was my work partner and friend for many years. He was the best person I ever worked with the entire time I was at the pharmaceutical company. He was a 'Curmudgeon Brother' to me, as I was a 'Scurvy Dog' to him. Rob once bought a copy of the movie "Cool Hand Luke" for me when I was fighting with management often admonishing me with " Stay Down Luke" when I got in trouble during these heated discussions. He told me he did not me to get fired because we worked so well together. An Intensely Private Man, though he often shared his extreme joy spending time with his grandson Noah and other grandchildren, he really loved being a grandfather. Family was the most important thing in his life and we talked about our families at morning break we went to on a frequent basis. He shared his joy of his brother's life changes and his grief at his passing. 
Please know that Rob was a most honorable man I am proud to have as a friend.
