Bob was born in Columbus on April 30, 1947 to the late Robert E. and Eileen (Mossholder) May, Sr. He served honorably in the United States Navy and Naval Reserves between 1968 and 1973. On March 20, 1971 he married Judy, his wife of 45 years, who survives him. In addition to his wife he is survived by son Joshua R. (Amy) May; grandchildren Caden, Cole, Cain and Isabella; sister Roberta Fish; sister-in-law Julie (Joe) Marko; niece Lyndsay (Josh) Gelhaus; nephews Matthew Marko and Jim (Karla) Fish; great nephews Quinn, Drew and Mason.
Bob worked as a tool and die maker for many years at Crane plastics. He was an usher at for Ohio State football games where he made many friends, but his biggest love and source of friendship was his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and his fellow riders.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST in Gahanna. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
