Robert Burton Medors

Robert B. Medors, age 80, previously of Westerville, currently of Upper Arlington, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016. Bob was born in Elmwood, West Virginia and grew up in Bexley, Ohio, son of the late Jim and Hazel Medors. Also preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine Medors, son, Kevin Cross, and siblings, Betty Falter, Edith Bridenbaugh, and Linda Vawter. Bob graduated from Bexley High School, Class of 1954. Following, Bob proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy. He retired from Head, Inc., where he worked as a Treasurer and Controller, was a member of Advent Lutheran Church and coached numerous youth baseball and football teams in Westerville over the years. Bob was a loving and generous man with an ornery sense of humor. Family always came first in his world and he cherished the time spent together. In addition, Bob was a big Buckeye fan and avid fisherman. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 22 years, Janet Ogle Cross Medors; children, Michael (Stephanie) Medors, Scott (Kristen) Medors, Lynne (Craig) Jones, Bob (Cindy) Medors, and Terra (David) Boroff; grandchildren, Jake (Kristen), Joel, Megan, Mark, Drake, Madison, Morgan, Max, Mitch, Macy, Devin, Samantha, and Caitlin; great grandchildren, Kolten and Nash; sister, Janet Saas; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 1-3 P.M. Friday, October 14, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where a memorial service will begin at 3 P.M. Friday. Rev. Aaron M.
