Bob had a passion for boating, and always spent his summer weekends at Lake Erie, with his main destination point as Put in Bay Island. Bob also enjoyed going to Florida in the winter months. He was widely known as the man who took all of his equipment (toys) with him wherever he went. He had a great sense of humor and a wide circle of friends. He entertained his guests with such diversions as a wide array of fireworks, and his infamous potato cannon.
