Robert James Pantano

Robert James Pantano, beloved son of Carol Pantano O’Neal and the late Frank Pantano passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the age of 55. Loving husband of Elisha Pantano, devoted father to Ashley (Dan) Guenther and Matt Pantano, stepfather to Abbie and Max McClelland and proud grandfather of Grace Isabelle Guenther. Cherished brother of Terri (Jeff) Hansee, Mike (Barb) Pantano and Dan Pantano and uncle to Bob & Ryan Turley, Cait & Anthony Pantano and Frank & Gina Pantano. Also survived by multiple DeLoof cousins, special lifelong friends, the O’Neal Family and many, many other dear friends. Rob grew up in Cincinnati (Greenhills), Ohio where he attended Our Lady of the Rosary Grade School and Greenhills High School. He graduated from the Ohio State University where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. His lifelong friendships from Kappa Sigma were an important part of his life and he remained a loyal and passionate Buckeye throughout his life. He earned the C.P.A. certification. Rob dedicated 32 years of his career to Cardinal Health where he touched dozens of lives over his years through his tremendous leadership and commitment. Rob was the first to be there for a friend or family member in need. He was a loving and devoted husband to Elisha Pantano and a kind and caring son and brother. His two children, Ashley and Matt, were the center of his world. He felt truly blessed with his first grandchild, Grace Isabelle. He spent much of his time over the years supporting numerous philanthropies to help others. He loved with all his heart and blessed those who knew him. Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 24 from 3-7pm at the Schoedinger Worthington Chapel 6699 High St. Funeral Mass on Friday, August 25 at 10am at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 10700 Liberty Rd. Powell, Oh. 43065. Fr. James Black Celebrant. Interment Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati.
