Robert C. "Bob" Stephenson

Robert C. Stephenson, age 62, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011. He was born April 1, 1948 in Columbus, OH to the late Lawrence and Vadera Stephenson. He was also preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Kelly Agler; sister-in-law, Barbara Titus and mother-in-law, Laura Titus. Bob was a loving friend and husband to Margaret A. (Titus) Stephenson. He is also survived by his brother, Jack (Sharon) Stephenson; stepchildren, Cathy Agler and Jimmy Agler; grandchildren, Ashley and Gracie King, (who were so special to him); brother-in-law, Don Titus; close friend, Jim King; 5 nephews and a niece and their families, cousins and other relatives. Bob was a Viet Nam Army Veteran and had total respect for all veterans. He was very patriotic and felt strongly about the fallen heroes from all U.S. wars. Bob enjoyed all sports and liked golfing with his buddies and going fishing in Canada every summer with Margaret and friends, Jim and Patty Alban. Bob had many good friends and always kept up with what was going on in their lives and in the lives of family members. Bob had a unique sense of humor that included teasing those he liked. He was a member of the American Legion Don Gentile Post #532; NAUS-OH-15A and VFW Clarence “Bo” Casto Post #7005. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11am Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, OH 43202 with a reception to follow at NAUS.
