Robert S. Sweeney, age 75, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011. He was born in Columbus on November 6, 1935 to the late James and Florence Sweeney. Robert was a long time employee of Lazurus. He was a huge sports fan, and especially enjoyed NASCAR. He loved dogs, and enjoyed taking his sister-in-law’s, Frances dogs for walks. He is preceded in death by his siblings, George, James, David and Mary. He is survived by niece, Kathie (Joe) Brewster; nephews, David, Jr. and Bryan; great nephew, Jared; sister-in-law, Frances. Family will receive friends from 2-4 pm, Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 West Broad St., Columbus. A graveside service and internment will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 31, 2011 at Dublin Cemetery.
