

Care Center in Columbus. Born in Cleveland on June 17, 1920, to the late Augusta (Strasburg) and
Gustav Timm, Bob is survived by his beloved wife of almost 67 years, Margaret (Peg, nee Monk), and
nieces and nephews Dr. Richard Pritchard of Azuza, CA; Don and Gregory Korth of Cleveland; Allen
Mihalko of Wooster; Lois Wright of Rocky River, OH; Peggy Mihalko (Mounir Moussa) of Columbus;
Naomi (Larry) Budd of Marysville; Cynthia Gainey of Mansfield; Cathy Kunkel of Youngstown, plus many
friends. Bob and Peg were married May 15, 1946, at Bedford, OH. A proud World War II U.S. Navy
veteran of the Pacific theater who saw active duty on the U.S.S. Irwin, Bob was awarded a number of
medals during his military service. He was employed at Star Baking Company in Cleveland and at Omar
Bakery, Sonic Courrier, and Wyandotte Pharmacy in Columbus. He served on the board of the Church
of the Nazarene in Cleveland and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. A Celebration of his
Life will take place Monday, April 8, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2001 Northwest
Boulevard, Columbus 43212, The Revs. Stephen Wachtman, David Markowich, and Dr. Richard Pritchard
officiating. Friends may call at the church prior to the service from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Interment at Union
