Robert James "Bob" Witherow, 76, of Columbus, died Friday, January 8, 2016. He was born February 7, 1939 in Irvona, PA to the late Lloyd and Elizabeth (O'Shea) Witherow. He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Youngstown, OH and Youngstown State University. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Bob was a sales representative for Texaco and later in the power equipment industry. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and an avid reader. He is preceded in death by his brother John Witherow and brother-in-law John Troy. Bob is survived by Valerie (Costello) Witherow his loving wife of 55 years, children Chris (Lisa) Witherow, Karen (Gary) Grubb and Robert Witherow, his grandchildren were the loves of his life, Connor and Justin Grubb, Kenedy, Olivia and Alex Witherow, siblings Joanne Troy, Paul (Phyllis) Witherow and twin Richard (Carol) Witherow.
