Roberta Alice Benson "Bobbie" went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 12, 2016. She taught school for 33 years, 2 years in Germany, 1 year in Newfoundland, and 30 years in Columbus, OH. She is preceded in death by parents Ivar and Lois Benson and brother Ted Benson. She is survived by sister-in-law Janet Benson, 2 nieces, many special friends, especially Jean DeWalt and Lois Maxwell, and also her beloved dog, Benny. Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Eastview United Methodist Church, 1045 Ross Rd., Columbus, OH 43227.
