Roberta L. Broyles

Roberta L. Broyles, age 77 of Reynoldsburg, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012. Roberta was born and raised in Columbus, daughter of the late Homer and Beulah Broyles. Also preceded in death by her siblings, Don and Howard Broyles, Wilma Phillips, and JoAnna Graham. Roberta was a very independent woman who was extremely devoted to her family. She worked for the Bureau of Workers Compensation and retired from The State of Ohio Industrial Commission. She also retired a second time from Larrimer & Larrimer Law Firm. Roberta enjoyed watching sports, particularly The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals; however, the sport Roberta enjoyed most was shopping. She will be greatly missed by her son, Danny (Illona) Broyles; grandchildren, Michelle (Brian) Vernon, Brett (Kim) Broyles, and Will (Jennifer) Thompson; great grandchildren, Aden, Alec, Cameron, Ian, Nathan, Nicholas, Riley, and Sydney; brother, Robert Broyles; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Friday.
