

Ronald Vincent Biltz, age 80 of Upper Arlington, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017. Ron was born and raised in Lorain, Ohio, son of the late Vincent and Eleanor Biltz. Also preceded in death by his beloved wife with whom he shared 45 years of marriage with, Dorothy Biltz. Ron graduated from Lorain, High School, Class of 1956. Following he attended The Ohio State University, where he met Dorothy. While there, Ron proudly enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he served his country for 4 years. Ron retired after 40 years of dedicated service as an Operations Supervisor with AEP. He was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was a member of the AEP Veterans Club. He was Past Master of Masonic West Gate Lodge FandAM #623 both in 1993 and 2012 and also a trustee, Scottish Rite 32 Degree. Being a Mason was something that was very important to Ron and throughout the years, he spent countless hours volunteering for charities or events that needed help. In Ron's spare time he was an avid woodworker and loved nothing more than be a grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his daughter and son-in-law, Lea Anne and Roland Brooks; grandchildren, Kathryn and Ben; and special friend, Emily Sue Eubank and her family. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Wednesday. Masonic Service will begin at 10:45 A.M. Wednesday, just prior to the funeral service. Interment Union Cemetery.
